caroline & i went to visit a famous letterpress place today. in skaneateles. we ended up just talking to the couple that runs it, instead of filming them like we’d hoped, but it was an interesting morning, at least. we’ve been doing lots of stuff. we’ve sorta been exploring during the day and working at night. we checked out apartments (she’s considering moving here), we went to the dinosaur, walked around downtown and skaneateles, the erie canal, drove around warners. and missy & nick came over to play clue tonight. we cooked homemade hot pockets & chocolate-pumpkin bread pudding.

random stuff.

and speaking of random stuff. monday, i’m gonna drive south, to scranton, pa. i got a call last night, around 430, from sandy. it was a garbled message, with lots of half sentences, and she got cut off and called back to leave another long garbled half message, all basically saying that she’s gonna be on the east coast this weekend, and there are things that she wants to say that she hasn’t been able to, and she wants to get together. so we talked today, decided that we’re gonna spend monday together. she’s gonna skip classes and work and fly back to LA on tuesday instead, and we’re each gonna drive two hours or so to meet up in the middle… in scranton, pa. i’m excited, and almost a little nervous; it’s all so spontaneous and crazy, i’m not sure what to make of it. but i’m down.
