it’s been a long week. we’ve been working hard, and we’ve been cramming fun in. as you read this, know that you’re reading the ramblings of a tired man. i’ve decided to stay longer, but only a little bit. i’ll try to change my ticket, but will probably throw it away and buy a new one; in the grand scheme of things, it isn’t very expensive. a handful of people were disappointed that i wasn’t going to be in los angeles for the senior show. and it gives me time to see a few people i haven’t yet, and to spend more time with a few people i’d really like to. i worry about overstaying my welcome, but it’ll be fine, afterwords. and then i’ll go home and start fresh, with intention. i intend to find things to do: sailing, bike riding, and i’d like an easy-going job so i can meet new people. missy will be there for a while, and maybe erika. i intend to build a little shack in the woods, and start a garden, and build a very small pond. to enjoy evenings away from the computer, and because it’s something i’ve always wanted.
i watched the reader tonight, and that might be why i’m thinking like i am. "life is too short to accept wasted time," my friend tells me. i see that clearly at the moment.

in 22 days, i’ll be moving back to camillus too. maybe you’ll let me join you by the mini pond some nights?
micah rich
what, really? are you done with school? how long will you be there?
alison
actually, i’m going to SU for law school! and i’ll be living with my parents… haha. But this offer: maybe we can begin the tradition a bi-weekly coffee-or-ice-cream date or something? to keep each other from going insane in camillus
micah rich
a. congratulations. wow. SU, that’s awesome.
hell yes. that makes me really excited.see-bee-arr
i think you should watch yes man. i watched it on the plane back from ny and even though it’s a lame jim-carrey-is-now-only-slightly-more-grown-up-than-in-that-animal-movie movie, i think you would appreciate the message.
