nikki perry, who’s happens to be in town, and i went to go see star trek tonight. i’ve been eagerly anticipating this movie for yearsssssss, since i first heard it’d been greenlit. and i was not disappointed in the least. it’s an action flick, for sure, but it’s funny and smart, too. i’m a little bored with time travel, having stayed with lost since it went on air, but no matter. wonderful character development, wonderful effects, wonderful feelings being emoted.
and i’m a little disappointed, too, because this morning i saw the cheapest price for that camera i want yet, and i bought it. the transaction went through, and i don’t think it’d quite hit me what i’d done, but i was looking forward to it. i started researching which lens to buy. and then i came home and got an email about how the company had refunded my money, because, oops! they were out of stock. maybe in the end it’s good that i’ve still got the money, but i’m quite displeased with that company.
not enough to ruin anything, mind you. i stopped by wegmans on the way home tonight, and bought some hair dye. i dyed my hair once, sometime at the beginning of college, and i liked it. my hair’s getting long, so i figure now’s a good time to try it again. we’ll see how it goes.
