my dear, dear friends.

this is just the beginning.

where once there was apathy, disillusionment, and malaise, imagine now a place of hope, imagination, and fulfillment. everyone’s got a good side, right? all we need to do is show it off. here and now, we’re starting a revolution. a little good deed can be the difference between the worst or the best day of your life. imagine the last time you did something good for someone, just for the sake of doing it. do you remember how good you felt? do you remember how many times you told that story?

we start with a place. the internet is practically boundary-less. thegoodsideof.us will be the spot where you can go to and share stories and ideas to make the world a better place, from the ground up. we continue with some real life happenings – potlucks, we call ‘em, to celebrate bringing new neighbors into our good little community. get a bunch of strangers and friends together, and do something nice.

and soon it’ll be spreading. people starting their own potlucks. people sharing recipes for good deeds. people swapping stories of how good people are. and suddenly it’s a revolution.

this is just the beginning.

it is not perfect, but it is time. we made it, and it exists. we wanted to make a project for our senior thesis that does something. we wanted to make a project that made a difference somehow, and now it is born. help us. join this revolution, and make the world a little bit better.
