Hey, stranger. Want to login?
hm, so now that i’ve been thinking about it, i’m not sure i can tell you all that’s happened. i’ll tell you, but i’m not sure you’ll know from that. i can tell you i went to vegas, and i got more drunk than i’ve ever been. i might not get drunk again for a while. i went to disneyland, twice. once for each park, and let me tell you: even from a man who hated disney for a good chunk of his life, that place is magical. i went to the magic castle, saw a real magic show, met lampchop, and drove my friend tiffany’s car home. tiffany is interning at pixar this summer, and will have her name in some credits at a theatre near you. i got a job with a company that really seems fantastic: socially conscious, web design and programming, and entrepreneurial startups. that’s still in negotiations, but it’s an exciting thing. i met a really amazing girl. i don’t want to tell you too much about her yet, but i expect you’ll hear more when i get back to la. shane and nick and heather took a bus to los angeles. we hung out in my apartment even though the power got shut off. we drove to san diego, where we stayed on the 20th floor of the marriott, overlooking the bay. we went to monterey and cannery row. we saw a small part of pebble beach and big sur. we went to san francisco and had new york style pizza. we went to sequoia national forest and saw the biggest trees in north america. we also came dangerously close to running out of gas, and drove in neutral down the mountains, just barely making it to a gas station before the car stopped running. we went to san ramone and met heather’s uncle and cousins, who were extremely generous and very nice.
and now i’m in new york. where you can see stars, where there’s not much to do, and where i can finally rest for a minute. and that’s what’s new with micah.
