i bought a new coat today. our thing tonight went well, and it was fun, too. we had a really good conversation at dennys, and nick touched on an idea that is probably entirely true :
he likes the blarney stone because, there, there’s no room for meaningful conversation. to him it’s a way to relax and not worry about anything. but for me, it’s the opposite. i love meaningful conversation, and would rather spend time with one person having a serious conversation than a bunch of people being drunk and joking around. he might really be on to something.
