Hey, stranger. Want to login?
first off, let me tell you about micahs blog. one of the beautiful things about my new handmade system is that it’s so versatile. i’ve already implemented two minor upgrades since i launched yesterday. they may not be the most exciting things ever, but the fact that i can make useful upgrades without relaunching the site is pretty sweet. i made it so that when someone signs up, they get a short little thank you email that also tells them that they can go to http://www.micahrich.com/blog/users/yourloginnamehere to check out their account details. tomorrow i’ll work on making the details editable, in case you want to change your password or whatnot. later on, it’ll be like your homebase for favorites, or to see comments you’ve left or whatever, who knows. but i also set it up so that it sends me an email everytime someone does leave a comment, so that i’ll be informed. how nice for micah. email is cool.
moving on.
guess who i hung out with tonight. sarasil. i know. she was at dennys at our date time, so i went in and she was with some kids that i haven’t talked to in a while. it was pretty nice, even though dennys isn’t much for me. we decided to head over to sasha’s to say hi. they talked for a long time about stuff i had no idea about, but i really love both of them and didn’t mind that a bit. sara told me as we were leaving that she could count the number of times we’ve hung out on one hand, and, since she’s so wonderful, that’s completely unacceptable to me. she agreed to stay a few more days, and i agreed to hang out with her every day. while i was clearing off the car, she attacked me with some snowballs, and we had a sweet snowball fight. i haven’t had a snowball fight in forever. we talked a little about my senior project, and about saving the world.
funny how a few minutes can really make a night, eh?
