erika came to visit today. not kylee, surprise. i’m not even worried about being friends with kylee anymore. we spent a while sitting around talking, and eating pizza. and then we made cookies, and started watching this movie, called talk to me. it was a really moving flick, one of those dramatic, kinda-true biographies. these two very different guys found each other, and, like it or not, grew to be brothers. it left me feeling sad, and pretty lonely. after supper, i called missy. she kind of understood how i felt, and it made me feel a little better. we ended up going to a restaurant with nick, to get pizza, drink beer, and watch sports. while i don’t care much about sports, wasn’t really hungry, and don’t love beer, i needed the company. at the end of the night, i found myself at nicks, and we put it another movie, knocked up. it’s not a very funny movie, but it made me feel better. it was kind of moving, too, to see that two people could love each other despite everything, and that there’s always hope. funny how much a story’s morals can dictate my perspective. i feel better, but haven’t quite shaken the lonely.
